Services Description
Salisbury Mold provides professional mold inspection, testing, and remediation services for residential and commercial properties in Maryland's Eastern Shore region. Our services include but are not limited to:
- Mold inspections and assessments
- Air quality testing
- Mold remediation and removal
- Water damage restoration
- Crawl space encapsulation
- Post-remediation verification
Service Area
We provide services throughout Wicomico County, Worcester County, Somerset County, and Dorchester County, Maryland. Service availability outside these areas is at our discretion.
Estimates and Pricing
- Initial mold inspections are provided free of charge as stated on our website
- Written estimates for remediation work will be provided before any work begins
- Estimates are valid for 30 days unless otherwise specified
- Actual costs may vary from estimates if unforeseen conditions are discovered
- Any changes to scope or pricing will be communicated before proceeding
Scheduling and Appointments
- Appointments are scheduled based on availability
- We request 24-hour notice for cancellations or rescheduling
- Emergency services are available 24/7 at our emergency rates
- We will make reasonable efforts to arrive within scheduled time windows
Property Access
By engaging our services, you agree to:
- Provide safe access to all affected areas of the property
- Disclose any known hazards or safety concerns
- Ensure authorized adults are present during service visits
- Remove or secure pets during service appointments
- Clear personal belongings from work areas when requested
Customer Responsibilities
As our customer, you are responsible for:
- Providing accurate information about your property and mold concerns
- Notifying us of any changes to the property condition
- Following post-remediation care instructions
- Addressing underlying moisture issues as recommended
- Timely payment for services rendered
Payment Terms
- Payment is due upon completion of services unless otherwise agreed in writing
- We accept cash, check, and major credit cards
- For larger projects, a deposit may be required before work begins
- Outstanding balances may be subject to late fees after 30 days
- We reserve the right to suspend services for non-payment
Insurance Claims
We will work with your insurance company when requested. However, you understand that:
- We cannot guarantee insurance coverage for our services
- You are ultimately responsible for payment regardless of insurance decisions
- We will provide documentation to support your claim
- Payment from insurance does not affect our payment terms
Warranties and Guarantees
Our remediation work is performed according to IICRC standards and includes:
- One-year warranty on remediated areas under normal conditions
- Warranty is void if underlying moisture issues are not corrected
- Warranty does not cover new mold growth from new water events
- Post-remediation clearance testing confirms successful remediation
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- Our liability is limited to the cost of services provided
- We are not liable for pre-existing conditions or damage
- We are not liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control
- We are not responsible for items not disclosed or not visible during inspection
- We are not liable for consequential or indirect damages
Website Use
When using our website, you agree to:
